Lumbini, November 25, 2017: An eleven member Judiciary Delegates of Vietnam paid visit to Lumbini today. The pilgrimage was led by H.E. Nguyen Hoa Binh, Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court of Vietnam and was accompanied by H.E. Ton Sinh Thanh, Ambassador of Vietnam to Nepal, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tien, Chief Judge of the Supreme People's Court of Da Nang, Mr. Tran Van Chau, Chief Judge of the Supreme People's Court of Ho Chi Minh City, Mr. Pham Quoc Hung, Secretary of Chief Justice, Mr. Chu Thang Quang, Director of Department of Legislation and Science Management of Supreme Court the Supreme People's Court of Vietnam, Mr. Chu Trung Dung, Deputy Director, Department of International Cooperation, the Supreme People's Court of Vietnam , Dr. Rajesh Kazi Shrestha, honorary concul of Vietnam and other delegates.
The Delegates were welcomed at Mayadevi Temple complex by Lumbini Development Trust. Information Chief Hari D. Rai briefed Lumbini as a world heritage property and international pilgrimage centre to the delegates. The delegates worshipped the birthplace of the Buddha and prayed for the world peace and happiness. The delegates also visited Lumbini monastic zone and observed Vietnam Buddhist monastery located at the west monastic zone.
