January 29, 217, Lumbini: Chief Justice Rt. Honorable Sushila Karki visited Lumbini today. The Chief Justice was accompanied by a team of Appellate Justices and District Justices. CJ Karki and delegates were welcomed in Mayadevi Temple complex Lumbini by Senior Floriculturist Sabbir Ahamad Khan and Information Officer Rajan Basnet of Lumbini Development Trust (LDT). 

CJ Karki worshipped the holy birthplace of the Buddha and observed archaeological sites in the complex. The delegates also visited monastic zone and enjoyed the boating service in the central canal. The Lumbini officials briefed the spiritual, cultural and development activities being undertaken in Lumbini.

The Chief Justice Karki appreciated the recent development initiatives and wished for balanced development of the holy site for the common benefit of global community for world peace and prosperity.
