Lumbini: His Excellency Bounneme Chouanghom, Ambassador of the Lao People Democratic Republic to Nepal and India visited Lumbini on 13th November 2019. Along with his spouse and staff, His excellency paid homage to the holy birthplace of Lord Buddha in Mayadevi Temple. His excellency and his team were welcomed at the premises of Mayadevi Temple by the acting member secretary of Lumbini Development Trust Mr. Saroj Bhattarai, Information Officer Mr. Rajan Basnet and other staffs of LDT.

The Ambassador also had a meeting with Vice Chairman Ven. Metteyya Sakyaputta and officials at the Head Office of Lumbini Development Trust and visited Kapilavastu sites during his stay in Lumbini.
