NCC Bank, Lumbini branch conducted inauguration and handover program of RO drinking water station to Lumbini Development Trust on April 1, 2022, in the yard of LDT, near Eternal Peace Flame.  Vice-Chairman of Ven. Metteyya (Awadhesh Kumar Tripathi) and Lumbini Provincial Manager of NCC Bank Mr. Manish Aryal jointly inaugurated the drinking water station. The program was attended by the officials of the LDT including Treasurer Mr. Dhundhiraj Bhattari, Member Secretary Mr. Sanu Raj Shakya, Project Chief Mr. Saroj Bhattarai, board member Mr. Bishworak Poudel, Council Member Mr. Shreeram Yadav and archeologist Mr. Basant Bidari, representatives of the bank and general public. 

Chairperson of the program Manish Aryal highlighted the objectives of the water project, “The bank initiated the project to provide pure drinking water (RO water) to pilgrims, travelers who come Lumbini for travel, security guard and others. However, the project was developed under CSR (corporate social responsibility). The bank invested 1.4 million rupees to complete the project.”  

Chief Guest of inaugural program Ven. Metteyya thanked NCC bank and the entire Lumbini team for the noble work. He appreciated the CRS initiatives of the bank that served tourists and enhanced the quality of the tourism experience in Lumbini. This project would help build a stronger tie between the bank and the Trust, he further added.
