A high-level delegation of speakers of different provinces visited Lumbini on 20th April, 2022. The delegation included the Speaker Hon. Pradeep Kumar Bhandari and Deputy Speaker Hon. Saraswati Pokhrel of Province No. 1, Deputy Speaker of Bagmati Province Hon. Radhika Tamang, speaker Hon. Netranath Adhikari and Deputy Speaker Hon. Srijana Sharma of Gandaki Province, Speaker Hon. Purna Bahadur Gharti and Deputy Speaker Hon. Krishni Tharu of Lumbini Province and Deputy Speaker of Karnali Province Hon. Pushpa Gharti (Bista) and officials. 

The speakers were welcomed in Lumbini by Member Secretary Sanuraja Shakya and Board Members Rajesh Shakya and Netra Shahi and LDT officials. Information Officer Rajan Basnet guided the delegates. The delegates worshipped the holy birthplace of the Buddha in Lumbini Sacred Garden and observed the international monasteries in the Lumbini Monastic Zone.
