New Project Chief of the Lumbini Development Trust, SmritaBhatta welcomed to the office

The newly appointed Project Chief of the Lumbini Development Trust, SmritaBhatta, was welcomed to the office. During a program held on Monday, DhundirajBhattarai, the Treasurer of the Trust, greeted her with a traditional scarf. Speaking at the welcome program, TreasurerBhattarai expressed that the new generation, with a determined mindset, can accomplish more tasks than the older generation. He highlighted the significant expectations associated with the new Chief, Bhatta, in the development of Lumbini.

Secretary SanurajaShakya welcomed the newly appointed Project Chief and expressed the team's readiness to work together. The Project Chief SmritaBhatta affirmed her commitment to serving the birthplace of Buddha, Lumbini, with honesty and dedication. She acknowledged the trust and cooperation expressed by the staff in the Trust.

In the program, the current Chief Engineer, SarojBhattarai, spoke about discarding old practices and emphasized the need to construct future plans. He mentioned his collaboration and support for the new Project Chief in their upcoming projects.

Referring to the context of predominantly male dominance in technical fields, the Chief Engineer highlighted the positive impact of having a female leader. Executive Members of the Trust, including ShyamRokka, BishwarajPoudel, and staff members, actively participated in the program.
