Lumbini: A Mongolian delegation in the guidance of His Holiness Guru Rimpoche Bhupati Bazra Lama visited Lumbini on January 3, 2017. The Chairman of the Asia Financial Cooperation Baoshank Bank Co. Ltd Li Zhenxi was accompanied by delegates Shimo Khandro Cheung Hoi Ching, Rabi Laxmi Chitrakar, Man Dandarava tai Lama, Yasodhara tai Lama, Yesheytsogyal tai Lama, Wang Dashuai, Wang Dashuai, Weng Yong Jun, Wu Junfeng, Yang Mingkai, Yu Hong fu, Zhang Haijun, Jadzima tai Lama, Palden Tamang, Nirbik Chitrakar,  and associates. 

The delegation was welcomed by Chief Floriculturist Sabbir Khan, Chief Archaeologist Krishna KC and Information, Public Relation Chief Hari D. Rai and Lumbini Development Trust (LDT) officials in Lumbini. The LDT officials and security personnel escorted the delegation in Lumbini Master Plan area while Information Chief and Chief Archaeologist explained the history, spirituality and archaeology of Lumbini to the delegates.

His Holiness Guru Rimpoche performed a puja for wellbeing of delegates and world peace in the vicinity of Mayadevi complex after worshipping the holy birthplace of Sakyamuni Buddha. The delegates also expressed their willingness to promote Lumbini as outstanding pilgrimage destination and fountain of world peace.
